Established in Malaysia on the 8 August 1994, the core business of Gateway Structure Sdn Bhd (GSSB) includes the installation of geosynthetic products in civil engineering and the construction industry.
The company has grown leaps and bounds over the past 20 years, evolving from a small construction company to a renowned professional geosynthetic installer or a geosynthetic installation contractor. Today, we have a solid reputation as a prefabricated vertical drain (PVD) installer, geotextiles installer and geotubes installer in Malaysia.
Prefabricated vertical drain is a prefabricated material consisting of a plastic core covered by synthetic geotextile filter jacket which allows water to pass into the core while restricting instruction of soil particles.
Geotextiles are installed to increase soil stability, provide erosion control, reinforce the structure and ensure stability.
Geotubes are usually used to prevent the erosion of foundation soil through the granular layers in the breakwater and also control the erosion problem by the beach due to the force of the wave.
Sand Filled mattresses are a low budget and effective method to prevent slope and riverbank erosion by forming a layer of vegetation on top of the surface.
With the expertise of our engineers, we provide effective solutions for the reinforcement of slopes and walls using geogrids and composite geotextiles.
HDPE geomembranes are commonly used as liners for sanitary landfills, mining and leachate ponds, man-make lake/ponds, wastewater and chemical treatment plants and agriculture ponds.
Geogrids are used to reinforce retaining walls, as well as subsoils below roads or structures because installation of geogrid will help to prevent soil and wall movement due to their high ability to distribute the load across a large area.
